Talent Match welcomes NEW Employment Coaches

TMS PRESS RELEASE

Talent Match welcomes NEW Employment Coaches

To better support our young people who are furthest away from the job market, Talent Match has employed 3 brand new employment coaches.

Our coaches will be working on a more intense one to one basis with our young people; offering an array of support opportunities to progress them on their journey to sustainable employment.

Through our “test & learn” approach we discovered that some of our young people need extra support in addition our fabulous volunteer mentors.

Through being able to offer the support from our coaches we are better able to respond to the needs of our beneficiaries.

Currently over 30% of our beneficiaries class themselves as disabled and many of them have multiple barriers that they need to overcome before they can even think about paid employment.

To date, this year we have helped 23 young people find paid employment which is just 2 shy of our target for the year – which we are set to exceed!

Achieving these targets and knowing the amazing stories of these individuals and others we have welcomed into the Talent Match family, the project is going from strength to strength.

Remember if you come across any young people who have been NEET for more than 12 months (or close to it), living in Lichfield, Cannock or Newcastle-under-Lyme Districts and who are aged 18-24 years old – please refer them to the Talent Match team.

If you or your team don’t fully know what support Talent Match can provide to young people looking for work and want to learn more – we can come out and visit you / your team and tell you more!
