Talent Match Conference and Awards Ceremony 2018
Golden Curly Wurly awards and an 80 piece Kazoo orchestra hit Whitemoor Lakes!
As Talent Match Staffordshire celebrated another fantastic year with flare and pizzazz!
We at Talent Match Staffordshire held our Annual Conference and Awards Ceremony in November at White Moor Lakes.
The event was chock full of awards for our graduate beneficiaries in recognition of their immense achievements over the last 18 months with Talent Match. We are so happy to have succeeded in supporting these young people closer to the workplace, with many of this year’s graduate beneficiaries having managed to secure employment and many more having been in sustained employment for some time now.
The Talent Match partners and trustees were also recognised at the event for their efforts and time supporting the Talent Match project, many of whom collected special 3D printed “Golden Curly Wurly” awards.
The colour of the awards was fitting as it matched the outstanding “Gold” award we at Talent Match Staffordshire received from Investors in People at the event, a symbol of industry excellence, which we are over the moon to achieve.
This year’s Talent Match Staffordshire Conference and Awards Ceremony was an extra special occasion, as it celebrated not only the achievements of 2018 but the feats of the programme as a whole since it started.
To date the Talent Match Staffordshire service has helped 85 beneficiaries to secure employment who often didn’t believe it was possible to get a job, and of this total, 32 beneficiaries have been supported to achieve sustained employment. The programme has aided a further 86 beneficiaries to undertake work placements and equipped 118 beneficiaries with basic skills training.
Undoubtedly the highlight of the Talent Match Staffordshire Conference and Awards Ceremony was the Kazoo spectacular! An 80 piece orchestra of event attendees, playing their own personally decorated Kazoos to the tune of Delilah, led by conductor and Commander in Chief here at Talent Match Staffordshire, CEO Amanda Bailey.
